Illustration commissions

Most of the drawings are digital,

but sometimes they follow traditional illustration methods. “I often sketch out my ideas first on paper, this allows my creativity to be free of the limitations you often get with digital methods.“

Established in 1990,

as a technical illustrator, Adrian liked to keep his folio open to new styles and techniques…

 “Often an illustrator will find a particular medium and stick with it, but I like to try new ways to work. You could say that my work is eclectic, but much of that is the product of a varied customer base.“

Cutaways

especially have been honed over the years to good effect, and the same goes with exploded view illustrations. “I like to experiment with technique and find new ways to create artwork for my commissions“

Adrian has also produced illustrations

in water colour, pastels, airbrushing, cut paper, low poly and professional software such as Adobe illustrator, photoshop and 3d modelling software like C4d and SketchUp.
